When the Prophet (ﷺ) received the good tidings that whoever invokes blessings upon him will be blessed by Allah in return, he prostrated in gratitude for this good news. So, at this place of prostration was established the mosque.

When he raised his head, I mentioned that to him, and he said: "Gabriel, peace be upon him, said to me: &ldquo;Shall I not bring you good tidings? Indeed, Allah, The Almighty, says to you: &ldquo;Whoever invokes one blessing on you, I will bless him, and whoever greets you, I will greet him."" So, I prostrated to Allah in gratitude.&rdquo; Therefore, a mosque was built in the place where the Prophet (ﷺ) prostrated. <h4 data-aos='fade-left' data-aos-duration='800'>Its Significance:</h4> This mosque is historically important, as it bears Prophetic traces and has been preserved to this day. It witnessed Gabriel's descent to the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet's prostration. <h4 data-aos='fade-left' data-aos-duration='800'>The Mosque During the Saudi Era:</h4> Due to its historical importance, the mosque was architecturally renewed during the Saudi era. In 1399 AH, the mosque was rebuilt, and its total area was expanded to 182.3 square meters. A minaret was erected in its northwestern corner. <h4 data-aos='fade-left' data-aos-duration='800'>Its Location:</h4> Today, the mosque is approximately 800 meters to the north of the Prophet&rsquo;s Mosque. <h4 data-aos='fade-left' data-aos-duration='800'>Visiting Times:</h4> The mosque is open for visits and prayer during prayer times.</body></html>
