Madinian Qilabah

Hijazi Qilabah:

Qilabah is one of the most popular traditional dishes in Egypt. It is served at breakfast and as a dawn meal (sahur) in Ramadan. Qilabah is widely popular in most Arab countries. In Madinah, it has a delicious taste and smell.

It is prepared in a distinctively Madinian way.

Difference between Beans and Qilabah:

Tomato sauce and special flavors are added to qilabah. It is often cooked and then mixed put in the pan

while blank beans are cooked in a jar without any extras.
